Oregon Coast Weekend Getaway: Sea Breeze Court Motel in Cannon Beach

Hello From Beautiful Cannon Beach at the Sea Breeze Court Motel!

Cannon Beach is a staple Oregon Coast town. We love going here for family vacations and even weekend getaways from Portland. It was especially important for me that we find a quiet place to stay close to Haystack Rock. Sea Breeze Court ended up being the perfect option!

More about this Family Owned Motel

Sea Breeze Court has been family owned and operated since 1965. In 2004 it was fully remodeled to be the updated beautiful place it is now. Currently, it is run by one of the nicest couples we have ever met during travels! They are avid birders (people who watch and photograph local birds.) We spent quite a bit of time getting to know them and saw immediately that they not only care about their guests but also the Cannon Beach community. How to get to Sea Breeze Court Motel

Sea Breeze Court Motel is centrally located a block from the ocean in Cannon Beach Oregon. The address is 1015 S Hemlock Street, Cannon Beach OR 97110. You can easily walk to Haystack Rock, downtown Cannon Beach, and many delicious restaurants.

The First Thing We Noticed was the Adorable Coastal Decor Outside

You know you are at the right place when you see the adorable hand-carved fisherman in a yellow jacket pictured below. He is only one of many adorable and kitschy pieces of art throughout the motel. These little touches enhance your stay in a fun way.

Now, onto the Rooms!

You have many room options here from a king studio to a two-bedroom. Since we were only doing a couples getaway to the coast, we went for the studio with a king-size bed. The bed was super comfortable; not too soft and not too hard. I asked for a quiet room because I am a super light sleeper and they accommodated no problem. Our room had way more living space than expected. There was a full kitchen stocked with cooking supplies for at least four people, a comfy couch that made me feel right at home, a great balcony, and flat-screen TV with DVD player.

Special Surprises at the Motel

I was pleasantly surprised a couple of times during our trip. First, we ended up with a room on the second floor with a balcony view of Haystack Rock! Next, the people who run our motel gave us many recommendations about restaurants in Cannon Beach and what to do. The motel lobby has a ton of free DVDs guests can borrow for free, complimentary coffee/tea/chocolate for guests, beach chairs you can borrow for free, and a binder in each room with everything you need to know about the motel and Cannon Beach activities.
